Size: 1/2 to 3/4 inch
Found this beetle in my garden mid July. I have no idea what it could be.

probably a female Epicauta fabricii (LeC.)

Blister Beetle
This is a Blister Beetle. It does look similar to other species shown in the guide, perhaps someone can identify it further:)
