Slender Meadow Katydid
Sure looks like Slender Meadow Katydid--Conocephalus fasciatus. You can see the green cerci, which are apparently distinctive--see the guide page.

And also the book mentions the forewing being longer than the abdomen, with the hind wing 2-3mm longer, and that shows in this picture. Thanks Patrick.
