Size: ~ ½"
This was in a bush in my yard at eye level. I looked in field guides and didn't see it.
It seems to resemble some of the Borers, but that a total guess on my part.
It flew off after I took 3 photos. The wings were a pale orange.

Well, I'm no expert, but to me they both look just like the images of Strangalia luteicornis already in the guide, as =v= suggested on my image.
