How big was this? It may be possible to figure out what kind.

 
It was 75 mm.

At that size
It would have to be either Oiketicus abbotii or Thyridopterix ephemeraeformis. I would lean towards the former, because a) I've seen that species a lot in Florida, and haven't seen the latter there, and b) the latter is only supposed to be up to 60 mm long.
