Size: Est. 5 mm body
Can anyone go further than Culicidae with an ID of this mosquitoe that was biting my hand? Photo taken at dusk. Male or female?

Female
Female mosquitoes are biters, males are not. Males also have more hair. I'm moving this to the mosquito page where the experts should see it.
