I seem to submit a lot of hover flies into ID request. I keep thinking that I have already submitted a picture of it and got a response, so i don't have to do it again, but then i look and i don't have a picture of it.

Keep 'em coming! Toxomerus marginatus.
I find these easy to ID to species.(Check the Toxomerus Info page for a helpful key.)
