This is probably asking a lot! Is it possible to narrow this down from "Fly" to anything more specific? The only shot I got of this individual and I like the detailed facial element to it. It would be nice to be able to say more than "Fly Face" but maybe that's asking a whole lot.

Maybe muscoid
The color pattern reminds me of a muscoid, maybe Anthomyiidae. In that case the big eyes would make it a male.
