Geomys knoxjonesi
burrow pitfall trap

Specimen curated at the Entomology Collection at Brackenridge Field Laboratory (BFL), University of Texas at Austin.

"This prepared specimen has label "Rhadine monahanensis" which is alleged to be a "Manuscript Name" coined provisionally by determiner Wm. Godwin, 1997. However, the non-existence of such a manuscript has been confirmed. Rhadine authority Thomas C. Barr, Jr. feels that this dorsal image superficially fits R. dissecta." - Peter Messer

Moved from "monahanensis" *Manuscript Name*. Further background for taxonomic position appears here.
