Baton Rouge - BREC Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
July 14, 2009
Size: about 3/8 to 1/2 inch
Originally found on a vine in the milkweed family.
Moved to boxelder during pursuit.
Along a trail in a meadow area.
The wings are red as glimpsed in a later image.
Markings toward the back resemble a map of Africa.
