Robyn Waayers, who caught this one, told me the name, but I couldn't remember. I see that the pronotum is more red in ours than in Mike's.

but half an hour should work, too. I collect live and carry them home in a cooler.

They're still alive if you leave them in overnight? I don't want to accidentally kill my subjects!

 
They stay in torpor
for days, just don't freeze them. The don't need much air - as ectotherms they decrease their metabolic rate very much in the cold.
