Corimelaena sp - Corimelaena

Corimelaena sp - Corimelaena
Agua Caliente County Park, San Diego County, California, USA
April 24, 2009
Size: BL about 4 mm
This bug and several others were found on a single Nicotiana plant (Nightshade Family-Solanaceae). Members of this family are listed in some guide books as the feed plants. Essig shows Thyreocoris (= Corimelaena) extensus as a common one with a cream or orange line on the sides of the elytra. This image shows both. Any chance it could be this species? or impossible to tell from a photo? I will post two other views.
