Moth - Black-bordered Lemon - 9044 - No Spots - Dorsal - Marimatha nigrofimbria

Moth - Black-bordered Lemon - 9044 - No Spots - Dorsal - Marimatha nigrofimbria
North Shelby, Birmingham 35244, Shelby County, Alabama, USA
May 28, 2009
See
Apparently Thioptera nigrofimbria, but without spots.

Badly Worn
No spots because of wear and focus. You can see indentations where scales are missing from spots. Tip: you can patch a torn wing with PhotoShop (or other graphic program).

I think you are the only other person posting regularly from Alabama, though my fauna is more related to the Gulf Coast than inland Alabama. So, here's to putting Alabama on the map.
