Identify this south eastern Arizona beetle please. - Thasus neocalifornicus
Hereford, Cochise County, Arizona, USA

This beetle shows up every July in large numbers and is found in clusters on mesquite branches.

I use mm-dd-yyy format and it always seem to work.

Giant Mesquite Bug - Thasus neocalifornicus
It's actually a true bug, and not a beetle. They're certainly colorful.
