This was ID'd by the beetle expert at the gathering, but I don't remember the name. It was on a post at the shelter.

Hemicoelus gibbicollis is easily distinguished from similar species by the triangular expansions on the sides of pronotum, insofar they are not reduced.

must be a Hemicoelus... currently
there has been a lot of overhauling in this lineage of the anobiines over the recent years
