Acanalonia? - Acanalonia bivittata
Harms Woods Forest Preserve, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA

Size: ~6mm
Not ten yards from the previous pink and white critter we came across another pink insect that looks a lot like Acanalonia, but there weren't any pink ones in the guide.

I believe it's bivittata, I recently found one like this too. I have found pink katydids as well. I think they are just unusual color morphs.
