Nigrita Bagworm Moth - Hodges #0441 - Cryptothelea nigrita - male

Nigrita Bagworm Moth - Hodges #0441 - Cryptothelea nigrita - Male
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
July 26, 2009
This is the only angle I could get on this moth. Interesting, the angle picked up the iridescent blues. The venation also shows clearly. It's a rather small moth, 6-8 mm range. Hopefully, there's enough info for an ID.
NOTE: Following BP's advice, I found Sean McCann's moth is the only other Cryptothelea moth on posted on BG having a blue cast.

Probably 0441 - Cryptothelea nigrita
(no rsvp, thanks)
