Large Moth - Eumorpha fasciatus

Large Moth - Eumorpha fasciatus
Azle, Parker County, Texas, USA
October 10, 2008
Size: 3-4" wingspan
This guy was on our front porch. Very mellow and would have sat on my husbands hand forever it seemed. Can anyone identify him/her? I searched for sometime through the bug guide and it seemed endless.
