Male
Sam, the absence of a tarsal comb on the forelegs and the six tergites on the abdomen are both indicators that this is a male wasp. Also, you may be able to count his eleven flagellomeres on the antennae. These are fantastic example images. Thanks

, unlikely to be ID'd to species from images alone.
