Goldenrod gall parasitoid fauna - male

Goldenrod gall parasitoid fauna - Male
Pennypack Restoration Trust, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 27, 2009
Size: 2 mm
It came from a goldenrod gall like this one. I collected this gall on 7/22/09.
It looks similar to but with fancier antennae. Could it be the male of the same species?

Moved from Eulophidae.
Thanks again.

Eulophidae-Chalcidoid
Tetrastichinae, probably Tetrastichus sp.

Thanks again
Moved from ID Request.
It looks like I have flooded the Eulophidae pages with my goldenrod gall parasitoids. I suspect that there are more than one species, but I don't expect IDs with such refinement. That may be asking too much.

Eulophidae…
The dark metallic coloration, wing venation, and short-segmented antennae indicate a Eulophid wasp. The clubless antennae indicate a male.

See reference here.

Thanks
Could it be Eulophid instead? I found several similar ones in the same galls that were IDed as Eulophids.

oh ya
that's probably it. i'm just realizing how little i know. haha. back to the books i guess.
p.s.
just looking at some more information and wondering if you have considered Encyrtidae. i can't quite tell from the pictures, but it seems like the antennae are attached too high on the head for a Eulophid.
