Apiomerus longispinis

Apiomerus longispinis
Fort Huachuca, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
July 29, 2009
This bug was hanging out near flowers on a shrub in mesquite/grassland. Captured two small bees in about 15 minutes.

Spectacular image.
This is one of the best images ever of any bee assassin that I've ever seen. Well done!

Thank you, Eric!
