Forest spider (?) -- Pimoa -- Araneae, Linyphiidae - Pimoa altioculata

Forest spider (?) -- Pimoa -- Araneae, Linyphiidae - Pimoa altioculata
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
September 10, 2005
Size: About 40mm
It sprung from under a log on the forest ground. I could not see any web associated with it. It crawled back under the log and disappeared. Any help?

I don't have a clue. The hairless, shiny legs are throwing me off. I am assuming your 40 mm includes the legs.

May be a Pimoa
