robber fly - Eudioctria nitida - Female

Size: approx 12 mm
I've noticed there seem to be two kinds of these: one with a basically solid brown wing, like this one, and one with white at the base of the wings.

Help to ID would be appreciated.

I think this must be Eudioctria nitida
on the basis of the femora being entirely black, and the tibiae entirely orange. In one form of sackeni the femora are black dorsally and orange ventrally, while the tibiae are orange; in the other, the femora are black except at the apical tip, and the tibiae are black except at the base. I'm going to move them to the page I made for nitida.

Eudioctria
And if this is not sackeni, there is something up out there in Oregon land. E. nitida is the other fooler in the area with orange on the tibias.
