My son was awakened by russling in his closet. When he turned on the light and searched, this critter came running out and ran under his bed. He woke me and when we looked under the bed, the centipede was upside down on the underside of the bed near the middle. I took a broom and sat it next to the centipede. It arched its back and climbed onto the broom. I carried it outside for a photo session and measuring. It was a calm critter, not easily excited. After the session, we placed him in the desert across the road from our home.
