Fly - Gymnosoma

Fly - Gymnosoma
Big Lake, Sherburne County, Minnesota, USA

A very interesting fly. I'm not sure if it's a Bee Fly, but would interested if an ID is possible. To me, it's pretty unique, having the abdomen round and marked. Thanks.
