Nice image, Lynette:-) Yes, it is a true bug nymph, probably in the Lygaeidae (or one of the new derivative families). Looks like it might be an ant mimic, too. Update: Identified by Dr. Jane O'Donnell as an immature Rhyparochromidae, possibly genus Slaterobius.
