I would appreciate some help with these. Even common names would be good.

Found in the same area as this one, perhaps the same species:

Moved from ID Request. I think you're correct about the family - nice images! Let's see if any of our experts can get this to genus... Do you have any photos from above?

Photos
Hi Ken, I do have more pics than just those two. Are you interested in them for yourself or would you like more posted. Either way is fine with me.

could you add/link a photo of the spider from above (dorsal) to these two? I probably won't be able to go much further with it, but one of our experts might...

Dorsal view
Those are actually two different spider shots. One is a female and the other is a male. I the female is still living on my back porch so I will go get a couple good dorsal shots. I haven't got one from the prior shoot.

OK -
I should have noticed that, but I haven't been able to pull up the other photo (taking a long time on my computer). Since these are different individuals, I'll unlink them and cross-reference them with thumbnails for you. Unless you know you're taking photos of the same spider, your new photos should probably be treated the same way. Although perhaps it's overkill, you could theoretically have more than one species of funnel web spider and we don't want to link them together...
