spider - Mangora gibberosa

spider - Mangora gibberosa
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
July 10, 2009
Size: 2.6mm for body
Here's another photo of the spider which shows a little bit of the underside of one of the back legs. You can see a slight dark line on the back leg. I didn't have any other photo which showed the underside of the front leg.

Moved
Moved from Mangora.

Too bad, it would have been a nice confirmation
But the guide says the only species with lines on the back of the abdomen is gibberosa, so this must be it. Nice capture of a specimen showing the variation possible in the markings. We'll move it to the guide.
