Clipped-wing Grasshopper - Metaleptea brevicornis - Male

I think this is a Clipped-wing Grasshopper. (1) The coloration looks like the plate in Capinera (2) and the wingtip looks slanted as described (partly visible in this shot).

Found in a short plant next to a small pond.

Yes, looks like a male Clipwing.

Crossing my fingers, as I've been wrong before on grasshoppers, but I think this is correct.
