Lubber? - Arphia xanthoptera - male

Lubber? - Arphia xanthoptera - Male
Chrisman, Edgar County, Illinois, USA
August 5, 2009
Size: approximately 1/2 inches
I found this in an open, medium tall, grassy field. I found something similar on this sight called a Chihuahua lubber but that one was in the soutwest and I am in the mideast. It wasn't very active. I would appreciate any information. I've since returned it to its original home. Thank you.
