Moved from Aleocharinae.

Meronera venustula
This is Meronera venustula (Erichson 1839), Aleocharinae: Lomechusini. How do I know? I have numerous specimens in front of me determined by the late Steve Ashe and, well, that's just exactly what it looks like. There is only one species in the genus.

cheers,
zack

I think Aleocharina is correct.
Something in the Falagriini, probably.

This looks like an Oxyteline
This looks like an Oxyteline rather than an Aleocharine..the antennae are inserted in front of the eyes. Kinda looks like an Apo*cellus species but something isn't quite right.
