Coleomegilla maculata
The spotted, or pink spotted, lady beetle. The dark brown color and the pattern of orange markings are distinctive, especially the "eyespots" on the first segment of the thorax.

(I haven't heard anyone else call them eyespots, but that's what I think of when I look at them.)
