possibly Parabrochymena arborea
I'm not an expert, but I noticed one of them appears to match this pretty well, especially the spiky shoulders.

Definitely looks like a match. They are residents in my Pine tree. Is this normal for the species? Are there any photos of P. arborea mating in the guide or elsewhere for comparison? Yours is a beautiful image.

I tried to find a pic that really matched yours. I've got a shot of one as well, but it a bit different looking, below. I don't know about the pine tree. Can't remember what kind of tree I found mine on. Just that it was camouflaged really well.
