Immature Katydid 1 - Microcentrum - female

Immature Katydid 1 - Microcentrum - Female
Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, USA
August 9, 2009
Size: body about 3-4 cm
Here's another one. First time I've seen this type. Size and shape indicates some sort of Katy, possibly. Found hanging out on kudzu/blackberry/honeysuckle collection. (Title and age classification modified 8-10)

Thank you, Harsi
I hadn't had a chance to dig further. Your help is greatly appreciated. :-)

Moved from ID Request.

Yes.
Nymph of a female Microcentrum species. Only one more molt until it is adult from the looks of it.

Thank you all
Yes, thanks. We have a ton of different Katys around here, and I'm only now starting to find out details about their stages (no, not Broadway), as well as those of others. The help is much appreciated.

Katydid
Looks like an immature Katydid.

Sure is great camouflage...
Those rusty spots on the leaf are a perfect match!
