Probably Laccophilus oscillator (Sharp 1882b)
but can't find any images of voucher specimens on the web. Do you still have the specimen? If so try examining it under the scope to see whether the elytral colouration is solid or irrorate (consisting of freckles). Will have to ask around to confirm this one.
