Sexton beetle - Nicrophorus carolinus

Sexton beetle - Nicrophorus carolinus
Lady Lake, Lake County, Florida, USA
September 15, 2005
I found two of these under a decaying Opossum in the yard, I collected them the evening before and took the photo's the next day (9-16). When found the little mites were all over them, but dispersed after catching the beetles.

Moved
Moved from Sexton Beetles.

I have an ID for this beetle
After doing some research, and finding the same beetle species, I belive this beetle is N. carolinus. A new guide page needs to be created for it and then moved. Are you able to do that? I have a couple of very nice photos I'd like to add. I will also link websites and other photos for verification. Thanks.
