These images appear to be...
...of two different subjects based on the tags. In this image the date looks to be 1998 while the other image looks like 1992. The 'N' in Haughton look different in the images also.

If these are different subjects the images should be unlinked.

These are the same specimen
Latelly I have been writing new tags because the old ones have incorrect ID. I believe the date on the first photo is incorrect as well. The year it was caught is 1982.

I'll look to see. Before even checking, just the body shape and patterns look more like D. parksi than D. quadriguttata.

Dasymutilla sp.
This could be either D. quadriguttata or D. parksi, check to see if the posterior edge of the head behind the eyes is angulated or rounded.

D. parksi has the edges angulated, here is a photo: D. parksi.
