Palo Verde Root Borer - Derobrachus hovorei

Size: 2 1/2 inches
By looking on the guide it looks like a Prionus heroicus to me. Largest insect I've ever seen crawling on a sidewalk. I moved it over into the dirt after I got a few pics of it. Didn't want anyone to step on it.
