Well, Whichever it Is, It's the......
... nicest photo I've ever seen of it! But that other bug has go to go. I share Robin's quandry, even more so after looking at the hodgepodge shown under the two species at MPG. They look like good candidates for "species group" treatment. If we can't find reliable characters to distinguish species, maybe they ought to be lumped for our purposes.

Macaria species
I would guess M. minorata (Minor Angle) but wouldn't put any money on it.
The CBIF images of M. transitaria look similar but their hindwings seem to have a darker fringe and less visible squiggly line in the median area. I don't know how reliable or consistent those features are. Compare images of both species.
