Was collected with a Poecilonota trying to mate with it.

This species also occurs in Alberta but I've yet to find one. Nice to hear that you nabbed a Poecilonota along with it.

It was caught by Dennis, we were both on a collecting trip together, although he called did me over to witness the ridiculous behavior. It was a nice catch. The image isn't great, I tried so many times to get a decent picture!!! I saw at least five other specimens flying around, but I either didn't have my net, or they flew in front of the car when I was driving!
