This guy was in a cemetery we were visiting and I'm almost positive he's some sort of a grasshopper - but what kind? We're in central Florida.

You got a very nice ID shot there. A great one for the Bugguide!

Thanks!
Thank you! I'm a photographer and quite proud of the shot myself!

I thought it was maybe that one, from a bit of Googling, but I wasn't sure.

Thank you again! Where might I submit it for the main gallery?

you can move it there
Click "tag" Then enter the name in the search window, and you'll get results for the species. Click on one, and you'll see a link to the species page, Go to the species images section, then you can move it there. Hopefully I'm describing how to do this decently.. You can also search Help for moving your images into the guide. It might explain it better. :)

There isn't a main gallery but....
Images are moved to the species page (guide) after they have been identified. You can move them yourself or an editor can move them for you.

You can find instructions about moving your images in the Help section under "How do I move an image from "ID Request" to the guide...". I will move this one for you. Please feel free to ask for more help should you need any.

Fine picture and Welcome to BugGuide!

Thank you! :)
