I. apicalis
This is probably
Isodontia apicalis
.
I. philadelphica
has the thorax covered in
black
hairs, not white like this one. The large head and really stocky build would tend to rule out
I. mexicana
. Nice find, this is one of the least common species of the genus there in Cincinnati (I lived there and collected wasps for eleven years).
