Isodontia philadelphica

I believe (would welcome a second opinion)

 
I. apicalis
This is probably Isodontia apicalis. I. philadelphica has the thorax covered in black hairs, not white like this one. The large head and really stocky build would tend to rule out I. mexicana. Nice find, this is one of the least common species of the genus there in Cincinnati (I lived there and collected wasps for eleven years).
