Brown and Green

Brown and Green "Beetle"? Green Triangle on Back - Banasa dimidiata
Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA
August 16, 2009
Size: Approx. 1/4"
Found this in the house, didn't seem to want to fly even after I took it outside, but it did have wings. Assume it's a beetle but that's all I can guess at. If identified please point me to more information or guide page, if any. Thanks.

it's a true bug - shield bug, stink bug
This is actually not a beetle, but rather, a true bug. Looks like a stink bug of some type. I found one here in the guide that looks pretty similar, but I'm not sure if it's an exact match. Here's a general info page on Stink Bugs
