Size: 3/4 inch approx
Lairly large fly-the blue was only visable from this angle.

Calliphoridae.
This is a "bluebottle" blow fly in the family Calliphoridae. Don't know which one offhand.

So-not all "bottle flies" are metallic all over-ah ha! I didn't know that. I have alot to learn about flies and wasps -especially.
