Size: 1 1/2 inch
this has the body of a butterfly and wings move like a huming bird. It does not land on the flowers it feeds like a hummingbird. I spent hours last niht looking through images here of butterflies, but still have not seen anything like it

Yes, Hummingbird Clearwing mo
Yes, Hummingbird Clearwing moth. I recently took a series of photos of one at the same plant, same variety. The moth was so extremely focused on nectaring that it regularly came within 1 inch of my camera and hand. Very hard to photograph but I managed a few good shots.
