Jagged Ambush Bug (Phymata)
I know this because on July 20 of this year I submitted a photo a friend of mine took, at his request. You can see his photo in the Guide section. His name is Kerry Hood. There are other photos of this insect there too. Just a couple of days after I submitted his, I found one on my Coneflower! I need to submit the photos I took, but Kerry's one photo is superb.

But I'm no expert, so I'd wait for an expert to verify what I think it is.
