Nice picture.
I wonder why the spider's abdomen is shrivelled like that? Dehydrated, do you think?

 
I wondered that too.
At first, I thought it was a sac spider. Later, I saw images of another photographed locally, and it had the same shriveled look. (It's in a naturally dry place, but there is irrigation.)
