Ailanthus Web Moth
We have had these in our garden. They're pretty things and I was surprised to find out it was a moth.

terrific macro!
An excellent macro of this confusingly beetle-like moth: the scales of the wings stand out with beautiful color and detail, making it obvious that this is Lepidotera. I hope you add this to the Guide images for the species. (Even though it's a partial image, I think it's a very valuable one for the scale detail!)
