Spider?

Spider?
Sutter Creek, Amador County, California, USA
August 20, 2009
Size: 1"
This guy was climbing up my leg last night - in the house. I thought it was some sort of potato bug, but on closer inspection I think it's a spider. I couldn't find one similar in the spider photos posted - could someone please help me identify this spider?

Thank you Andrew!
I'm sure that's what it is - thank you - I'll read more up on them. Christine

windscorpion, sunspider, camel spider
Are all common names for these guys. They're related to spiders, also arachnids, but different. Here's some info - Order Solifugae - Windscorpions

Here's a female with eggs inside that I found in CO.
