Abundant fly on bean plant - Chrysomya megacephala
Uptown, on river levee, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, USA
August 23, 2009
Size: ~1cm
This was at a dog park, so I'm not sure if these flies were attracted to the bean plant, or were just hanging out on leaves between meals of dog frass.
