Psorophora ciliata - female

Psorophora ciliata - Female
Indian River, Vero Beach County, Florida, USA
September 19, 2005
Sorry about the image quality. I am still learning how to photograph mosquitoes.
And if you are wondering, the bite of these is surprisingly painful. I get bit every time I go trapping, as we are not allowed to wear repellent (might contaminate the traps).
